Ergonomic Workstation

The lower profile of the 16U creates an ideal working height for seated operators, while the lockable sliding workbench extends to four depth settings, allowing you to position your mixing console, lighting controller or other equipment exactly where you need it.
The workbench supports up to 80kg when fully extended, providing a stable platform for professional consoles and controllers.
A retractable keyboard and mouse tray slides neatly away when not in use, keeping your workspace clear and organised.
Unobstructed Sight Lines
Unlike the FlipTop models, the PopTop features a fully removable lid that lifts away to create an open, unobstructed workstation.
This makes it particularly well suited to FOH mixing positions, monitor engineers and lighting operators who need a clear view of the stage and performers throughout a show.
The lower working height also makes this model a great choice for environments where keeping the workstation profile low is important, helping maintain clear sight lines for both operators and those around them.

For operators travelling with mixing consoles, lighting desks or other control equipment, we can design and manufacture custom foam inserts to securely house your gear within the case.
Custom inserts can be integrated into the workbench and lid, allowing your console to remain safely positioned and protected during transport.
This creates a complete transport and workstation solution, reducing the need for additional cases and helping crews move from truck to show-ready with less handling and setup time.
Easy Access
Designed for fast deployment and efficient operation, the 48 × 30 PopTop SLAM Rack 16U provides seamless access between the workbench and rack-mounted equipment, making integration, setup and day-to-day use effortless.
All four SLAM doors open outward and stow neatly alongside the outer walls of the case, providing unrestricted access throughout the rack and up toward the workstation above.
A pair of SLAM hatches also provide convenient rear access to the back of the workbench.
With the rack doors neatly stowed and the PopTop lid removed, operators have a clean, accessible workstation without unnecessary obstructions. Everything is designed to make setup and pack-down faster, keeping crews focused on the show.
